The time has come for us to think about the forthcoming “always-a-sell-out” annual Musical Soiree organised by Fordingbridge Twinning Association.
This time (as always) it will be in Fordingbridge Town Hall, and will feature last year’s very successful Band, Blue Tides, (pictured above) led by the inimitable Stephen Godsall, who will be returning by popular demand.
Blue Tides is a band that plays a wide range of music, vibrantly rhythmic, including Soul music, Latin, and even some cool jazz, guaranteeing yet again, another great evening.
This will be the sixth annual Musical Soiree conducted by Fordingbridge Twinning Association.
The event will take place on Saturday evening 27th October, and will feature a buffet of fine food, nosh, fayre, mainly purchased from Vimoutiers the previous weekend at the Foire de la Pomme, (Apple Festival) which will have been attended by representatives from Fordingbridge, with whom Vimoutiers is twinned.
Consequently, there will be no shortage of Calvados, Cider and Camembert cheese! (Camembert is a village, very close to Vimoutiers)
Tickets will be available from Caxton’s and Jessica’s, and this time also from the Fordingbridge Bookshop, all in Fordingbridge High Street, soon.
