The Fordingbridge Twinning Association is now preparing to welcome visitors from Vimoutiers, Normandy, France, for the long weekend of 26th to 28th May, to celebrate the joint 35th anniversary of our twinning.
There will be over 70 guests travelling from France for the events, including 40 members of the Vimoutiers Football Club.
The programme of events has been devised to show off what is the very best of Fordingbridge, and further announcements of the final programme details, will be announced during the next few weeks.
Meanwhile the Association requires your help please. People to host the French visitors are needed. Now is your chance to enhance your French language in the best possible way, although some of them do speak French!
The visitors will be arriving late Friday afternoon on Friday 26th May, and will be invited (so will you be) to the reception and jazz at the Town Hall.
They will be leaving early Sunday evening (28th) to catch the overnight ferry back home from Portsmouth.
Everyone, including the hosts, will be invited to a range of activities, including meals, during the whole weekend.
