Fordingbridge Rotary is again carrying out its annual “Shoe Box Project” and is seeking local people to help prepare the shoeboxes.

The shoeboxes are filled with gifts for disadvantaged children in Eastern Europe, and would welcome any shoe boxes packed by people from Fordingbridge and surrounding districts.

The picture depicts recipients in East Europe, suitably pleased.

The boxes are then dispatched to trusted partners for distribution in the receiving Country.

Rotary would be pleased to collect it from the home address.

The boxes need to have the suitable age/gender of the contents marked on them.

The boxes need to be ready for 6th November at the latest please.

All the checking will be done in line with Covid-19 precautions in mind, using “Safe social/physical distancing” at all times.

It is important that these boxes do not include battery-powered items, war-related-items or food of any kind.
